Docker Installation Guide
How to deploy DitakNet Monitoring Server using Docker and Docker Compose.
1. Docker Compose Configuration
Create a `docker-compose.yml` file in your preferred deployment directory. Host network mode is recommended so DitakNet can send raw ARP/ICMP packets for subnet discovery.
yaml
version: '3.8'
services:
ditaknet-server:
image: ditaknet/monitoring-server:latest
container_name: ditaknet-server
restart: unless-stopped
network_mode: host
environment:
- PORT=5833
- NODE_ENV=production
- DATA_PATH=/data
volumes:
- ./ditaknet-data:/data
- /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro2. Launching the Service
Run the container in detached background mode:
bash
docker compose up -d
# Check container status
docker compose ps
# View live logs
docker compose logs -f3. Firewall Configuration (UFW / iptables)
Ensure port 5833 TCP is open in your local firewall to access the web console:
bash
sudo ufw allow 5833/tcp
sudo ufw reload
